By accessing or using the Toekomsrus Hub platform (olifantcollab.co.za), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our platform.

2. About Toekomsrus Hub

Toekomsrus Hub is a community platform operated by Olifant Collab that connects service providers with residents who need services in the Toekomsrus area.

Important: We are a facilitator and connection platform only. We do not employ service providers, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of services provided through our platform.

3. User Eligibility

To use this platform, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be a resident of or provide services in the Toekomsrus area
• Provide accurate and truthful information
• Have a working WhatsApp account
• Comply with all applicable South African laws

4. User Accounts and Registration

When you register on our platform:

• You must provide accurate, complete, and current information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• You may not impersonate another person or entity
• You may not create multiple accounts
• You may not share your account with others

5. User Responsibilities

All Users Must:

• Treat all other users with respect and dignity
• Communicate honestly and transparently
• Report any problems, disputes, or safety concerns promptly
• Comply with these Terms of Service and South African law
• Respect others’ privacy and personal information

Service Providers Must:

• Provide accurate descriptions of services offered
• Honor service commitments once accepted
• Maintain professional conduct
• Provide services safely and legally
• Respond to service requests in a timely manner

Service Seekers Must:

• Clearly communicate service needs
• Treat service providers with respect
• Pay agreed-upon rates fairly and promptly
• Provide safe working conditions
• Give honest feedback about services received

6. Prohibited Activities

You may NOT use our platform to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
• Engage in harassment, discrimination, or hate speech
• Spam or send unsolicited commercial messages
• Conduct illegal activities
• Violate others’ privacy or intellectual property rights
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or damage the platform
• Collect user information for unauthorized purposes
• Impersonate Toekomsrus Hub staff or other users

Violation of these prohibitions may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Services and Transactions

Platform Role:

• We provide a connection platform only
• We do not perform background checks on users
• We do not verify qualifications or licenses
• We do not guarantee service quality or outcomes
• We do not handle payments (transactions are directly between users)

Your Responsibility:

• Verify service provider credentials yourself if needed
• Agree on pricing and terms directly with the other party
• Handle payment arrangements independently
• Resolve disputes directly with the other party first

8. Pricing and Payments

• All service pricing is negotiated directly between service providers and seekers
• Toekomsrus Hub does not process payments
• We do not charge fees for using the platform during Phase 1
• Future phases may introduce optional premium features
• We do not guarantee any income for service providers

9. Ratings and Reviews (Coming Soon)

When our ratings system is implemented:

• Ratings must be honest and based on actual experiences
• You may not post fake or malicious reviews
• You may not offer incentives for positive reviews
• We reserve the right to remove reviews that violate our policies

10. Liability and Disclaimers

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

• Quality, safety, or legality of services provided through the platform
• Disputes between users
• Loss, damage, or injury resulting from services
• User conduct or interactions
• Service provider qualifications or background
• Payment disputes or non-payment
• Interruption or unavailability of the platform

PLATFORM PROVIDED “AS IS”:

The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Olifant Collab, Toekomsrus Hub, and our staff from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the platform
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another user
• Services you provide or receive through the platform

12. Dispute Resolution

Between Users:

• Disputes should be resolved directly between the parties involved
• We encourage respectful communication and compromise
• We may offer mediation assistance if requested by both parties
• We cannot force resolution but will try to help facilitate solutions

With Toekomsrus Hub:

• Contact us first at info@olifantcollab.co.za to resolve issues
• We will work with you in good faith to find a solution
• South African law governs these Terms

13. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

• You violate these Terms of Service
• You engage in prohibited activities
• You provide false information
• You harm other users or the platform
• Required by law

You may terminate your account:

• At any time by contacting info@olifantcollab.co.za
• We will delete your information within 30 days (see Privacy Policy)
• You remain responsible for any outstanding obligations

14. Intellectual Property

All content on Toekomsrus Hub, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Olifant Collab or its licensors and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission
• Use our branding or logos without authorization
• Reverse engineer or attempt to access our source code

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time.

When we make changes:

• We will update the “Last Updated” date
• We will post the new terms on this page
• Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of new terms
• For significant changes, we will notify you via WhatsApp or email

16. Privacy
